People Brothers Band
One of the staples of Madison’s vibrant music scene, The People Brothers Band has been spreading their brand of Rhythm and Soul around the Upper Midwest for nine years. Currently working on their second studio album, the band is known for energetic live shows and ability to connect with the audience.
The band is the winner of the Wisconsin Area Music Industry Award for 2014 Soul/R&B Band of the Year and the Madison Area Music Award for 2015 Pop/R&B Album of the Year (Middle of the In Between), 2013 Blues Album of the Year (People Brothers Live) & Blues Song of the Year (Looky Here Mister).
The PBB have hosted their own grass-roots, live music & camping festival, People Fest, every year since their first summer together in 2009. In 2016 the band opened their own music and camping venue called Driftless Music Gardens, where they now host People Fest and a newer event called The Bonfire Music & Arts Festival. is an Alternative Rock, Funk, Neo-Ska Band formed in La Crosse, Wisconsin featuring Drums, Bass, Guitar, Vocals, Trumpet, and Trombone. The band took a West Coast tour in May hitting Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; and Los Angeles, CA. The band consists of Jordan Shackleton on Drums and Vocals, Conner Reisdorf on Guitar and Vocals, Tyler Glasel on Trombone, Guitar and Vocals, Troy Glasel on Bass and Vocals and typically Logan Miller on Trumpet. Space Heaters‘ original track, ‘Sources Say’ – off of their second EP titled ‘Helio’ – was featured on Wifi PR Group’s Indie Anthems Vol. 4, a digital mixtape series that was released at SXSW Music Festival. Their ‘Morning Light’ EP and ‘Helio’ Ep were recorded and produced by Jesse Wolf and Travis Allen, from the F-ups, most popularly known for their songs ‘Lazy Generation’, featured in the video game Burnout 3, and ‘Wrong The Right’, featured in the Amanda Bynes movie ‘She’s The Man’.
